Addis Ababa, July 12, 2016 (FBC) - A lottery draw will be held at the end of this month to transfer over 40,000 condominium houses built in Addis Ababa city administration to residents.
Diriba Kuma, Mayor of Addis Ababa City, told FBC that 39,000 houses built under the 20/80 housing program at Bole Arabessa, Bole Ayat, Kilinto and other sites will be handed over to residents at the end of July.
The administration also finalized preparations to transfer 1, 290 houses constructed under 40/60 housing program at areas commonly known as Sengatera and Crown, he said.
The houses are now more than 95 per cent complete and the remaining minor works are expected to be completed soon, according to the mayor.
