President Mulatu Teshome held talks today with a delegation led by Czech Minister of Agriculture Marian Jurečka.
The officials discussed about ways of strengthening bilateral ties, especially in the economic sphere.
They have specifically agreed to work closely in infrastructure building and agriculture.
Citing the experience of Czech companies in leather, cement and glass, the President said the investors could become successful if they invest in these areas in Ethiopia.
There are ample opportunities in terms of huge market and working places available for companies to come and invest here, Mulatu explained, adding that his nation would provide all the necessary support for Czech companies.
Czech Minister of Agriculture, Marian Jurečka said he has discussed with the President about specific issues such as protection and promotion of investment so that Czech businesspersons can come here and invest as it is really a safe environment.
Ethiopia has enormous export potential, the Minister said.
Jurečka revealed that the companies are interested to work together with Ethiopian investors in areas such as infrastructure and agriculture.
