President Mulatu Teshome sends condolences to Egyptian people

President Mulatu Teshome on Friday (May 20) passed his deepest condolences to Egyption people over the loss of lives of Egyptians after the crash of Egypt- MS804 with 66 people on board. On his official letter to President Abdel Fetah El-Sisi, President Mulatu noted, "On this sad occasion, the People and Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia express their deepest condolences to your Excellency and, through you, to the People of the Arab Republic of Egypt and to the bereaved families." The Egyptian navy said today that it had found the personal belongings of passengers and other debris floating in the Mediterranean, confirmation that an EgyptAir jet had plunged into the sea with 66 people on board. Egypt's President Adbel Fattah al-Sisi offered condolences for those on board, amounting to Cairo's official acknowledgement of their deaths.
